In recent years St. Vincent and the Grenadines has seen the rise of a number of persons who have established themselves as event planners.  Among them the name Vanesta Delpesche stands out as one of the most creative and affordable professionals in this area.

Owner and manager of Divine Creations, Vanesta’s efforts to become a top event planner were cemented and further boosted when the Centre for Enterprise Development Inc. (CED) secured an opportunity for her to gain training in Antigua in 2007. Her stint in Antigua, though short, helped to open her eyes to new trends and the latest technologies used in Event Planning.

“I got the opportunity to work on three events with my trainer, Ms. Eurileen Thibou [Eureka Events Limited],” Vanesta recalls. “We worked along with a production team from Los Angeles.

Vanesta also had hands on training in wine tasting and dinner, cocktails, and floral arrangement.  “This rare opportunity and experience has given me a better rounded vision of what the world of event planning is all about,” says Vanesta.  “It has built my creativity, organizational skills, my ability to keep track of details and most importly being comfortable working with a variety of people and vendors.”
